Breastfeeding & Bottle feeding advice

Hello!
In a bit of a pickle which I can't seem to get my head around.
When I was pregnant I paid for a hall for my partners 25th birthday (10th of June)
I exclusively breastfeed my boy (he's now 6 weeks) and my mum said she's willing to babysit for the night seeing as it would also be my first night out. But I'm scared..
I want to combination feed anyway, but what if he doesn't take a bottle, or what if he likes the bottle too much that when I pick him up he doesn't want my breast at all anymore :(
Am I being over paranoid?
I've been debating whether to go, I really do want to but i know I'm going to be thinking of him the whole time too (I'm a first time mum)
A few of my friends combine feeds but my mum plans to have him the whole night which is why I'm a little skeptical, is that too long to be away?
I haven't left his side since he's been born, so I'm just paranoid. Does anybody have any advice st all?

You need to introduce a bottle now. He may refuse but you can try. I gave dd2 ebm at 4 weeks from a bottle and we have had no issues at all. The hv warned me to start between 4 and 6 weeks as any older and they are likely to refuse. The only issue you might have is expressing enough for your mum to give and needing to express through the night because you might get engorged. Obviously your mum could give formula but again, I'd recommend slowly introduceing formula rather than giving him several feeds as a one off.

My tommee tippee starter set turns up next week, so I may introduce one bottle a day then. Which time is best to try or does that not matter?
I have quite abit of breast milk in the freezer as I have an overactive letdown (due to over supply) so I've caught it all in tubs and frozen them. I also have the ready made aptamil (breastmilk substitite) in my cupboards too. I also don't mind pumping in toilet to relieve engorgement

We introduced a bottle from 5 weeks. You need to persevere as they need to learn how to take it. We used medela bottles as they have a vaccum like teet, easier too if dad can do as being next to you they will want the breast. But once established you can feed too.
Now into week seven after getting the bottle to be a success we are doing one formula bottle a day which again little one needs to learn and you do get a bit off an upset tummy.

Could you mum look after the baby at the party. If you will have to pump anyway you could find a quiet corner to feed a few times.
