Is he bothered?

misdee · 09/02/2007 22:41

he seemed a bit surprised. not bothered, well i dont think he is.

there is so much he doesnt knowm, and is still learning about dd3, as he was in hospital till she was 18months old.

I know, misdee. How old is she now? I stopped bf dd2 at 22 mo but she had got to the stage where she couldn't sleep w-out a bf. Think dh was relieved - but then I was five months pg with ds at the time!

misdee · 09/02/2007 22:47

she is 2 in 2 weeks time. but she is still my little baby, cant belive she has been here 2 years. its flown by. and she is cheeky and ges away with loads!

I feel the same about my dd2 - she is nearly three now, and even though we have baby ds she is still my baby, and just like yours she gets away with far more than her poor big sister ever did - but then she is far more of a pickle than dd1 ever was! Don't know if I feel that way b/c she is the only one of my babies I managed to bf, or of it's b/c she's been quite unwell (although all better now ).

My dd turned two yesterday and I can't believe it either. And I'm trying to stop breastfeeding. She's very, very insistent though!

divamumplus · 09/02/2007 22:54

aww, bless her. i wish i breastfeed dd, unfortunately it just didnt happen as i wanted.

misdee · 09/02/2007 22:58

the older two are very very close to dh, they are definatly daddys girls. but dd3 is my girl ,if that makes sense. i dont think it has naything to do with bf her still, but because dh was away so long, she is still adjusting, and she gets ery confused and clingy when he goes back into hospital. but she also knows she is mischeif and can get away with it especially with daddy lol.

every morning, she sneaks out of our room, and i watch her toddle off down the hallway towards peters room. she peaks round the door, waves at him sleeping, then shuts the door on him and comes back to our room (her cot is in my room still). its like she needs to check he is still here. if he does disappear overnight, she lets out a big cry and comes back sobbing i feel so protective of her, as she doesnt understand why he comes and goes, the older 2 get upset as well, but at least with them i can explain why.

oh yes aloha, dd3 is very insistant as well. she can even latch on without waking me now.

Sorry I disappeared yesterday Misdee - ds woke up and I ended up getting him in bed with me - he's full of snot atm.

I had to cold turkey the bf with dd2 in the end. It was hard but I needed to do it, we were both not sleeping b/c of it and we needed to move on. [sob] But I would have found it a whole lot harder had I realised I wouldn't be able to bfeed ds.
