my 1 week old has had no trouble bringing up her wind until today when she has really struggled and seemed really uncomfortable. the only change in my diet that i can think of is that i had a can of diet coke yesterday (caffeine free)
can fizzy drinks make a bf baby windy or do you think its something else?!!
TIA

not unless you feed her the diet coke

My health visitor told me it could ( I wa s abit addicted to coca cola) but I still struggle to see how - it's not like your BM is carbonated is it?

keep away from caffeine!
(and dairy)... my DDs used to really be windy when i had any caffeine, particularly Starbucks Lattes...

cheers, i didn't think it would but you know how your muddled brain makes random assumptions esp when surviving on 2 hrs sleep a night....
