Sterilising bottles etc, do you rewash before resterilising if they haven't been used?

So I've left it more than 24 hours and not used them so they're no longer sterile. Do I have to wash again or can I just pop some new water in and microwave again?

I just resterilise. The point of washing is to remove milk fat/taxes and dirt, because sterilizing won't do that. If they were washed 24 hours ago and you've had them covered since then they shouldn't need another wash

Fabulous, thanks Hugh.
