How do I stop bf?

Ds is 11months old, ebf, bottle refuser. Drinks water from a sippy. I am just pregnant again, and don't want to be feeding two. I have plenty time but would like advice on how to phase out bf ds. He goes three days a week without bf when I am at work, but feeds am, pm and through the night.

Just to add, he is eating solids really well and reliably.

I'd night wean first and then replace morning and evening with milk in a cup? Have a look at Dr jay gorgons night weaning method, it's gentle and gets good results. You also may find your milk changes whilst pregnant and they don't want it. X

Thanks, I'll look that up.

Should he be having milk to drink? Instead of bf I mean.

When my first weaned we offered water overnight and during the day, and once he's self weaned at sbout 16 months offered milk morning and evening (he still has this most days and is three). If he doesn't like/want it if offer water and make sure he eats plenty of calcium rich food instead (mine love yogurts, cheese etc. but also broccoli and stuff is good). They're all different though, and I remember a growth spurt after mine was 18 months and he needed a banana if he woke up!!! (Ridiculous I know, but as soon as he'd scoffed it he'd go back to sleep!!!)
