DD is starting to scream when i try to breast feed her, she has 2 bottles a day and takes those wth no problem. But she has started to yell and arch her back when i try to give her a breastfeed. I have persevered so far because i think it is better for her but i don't know how much longer i can carry on like this

can you not cut out the bottles and see how she goes if it's only breast being offered?

Could do i am going back to work in 2 months so she will need to have at least 2 bottles a day by then, so seems to be going back to go forward. My question realy is how much difference would some breastmilk make to her if she is having formula anyway? How much better is breastfeeding for 4 months than for 3 ? Do others feel that it would make a substantial diffrence ?

Thanks for that she seems to have got over what ever was bothering her. Have decided to carry on, she is in an onsite creche at work, was hoping to at least give morning and evening feeds until 1. Think this help her fight off all the coughs/colds in childcare.Have cut down to just 1030pm bottle ,have been using that for so long i don't think i make any milk at that time.
