I'd like to start running again, just wondering about fitting this in with bf-ing though. DS is ebf and won't take a bottle at all. I could pop out during his morning nap (DH works from home so no issues there) but I've read that exercise can make your milk taste bad - is this true? Anything else to bear in mind - beyond needing a super heavy duty sports bra? Grin

This is a HUGE MYTH based on a couple of studies that showed exercising to physical limits produced excess lactic acid that entered the milk (harmlessly) and remained there for a very short time.

It should def not stop anyone exercising :)

Just go for it!

Cool - thanks TikTok!

Just got to get a sports bra several sizes larger...just tried mine on and it was somewhat constricting. DS found the contortions I had to do to get into it hilarious Grin

Just remember that breastfeeding keeps levels of relaxin in your body higher than normal so you are more at risk of injury, so take it slow to begin with.
