Eczema on nipple and b/f - what to do?

I am a regular who has gone anon for privacy reasons - don't want my friend to read my posts under my normal name!

But I'd like to ask:

First child, 5 months pg, is getting pretty heavy steroid treatments for discoid eczema, but has this bit on her nipple that is weeping and reluctant to clear up.

What would you recommend for her to do in the even that it doesn't clear up, wrt to breastfeeding? She's pretty sure she wants to feed, but I know is not very together about it yet. I'd hate for this to be a real obstacle to her when the time comes, I hope you see what I mean. The eczema is really not clearing up.

weeping eczema means there is a fungal and or a bacterial infection with it. it won't clear up till she gets rid of the eczema. has she tried a hydrocortisone with an antifungal like daktacort? my daughter also has had Vioform prescribed for use for infected eczema if it is weeping. It is a hydrocortisone with an antiseptic (not an antibiotic) It works but it also stains clothing.
