DS contantly feeding i feel like a human dummy!

I have just read the 'save tiktoks sanity' thread so i hope this isn't a question that everybody asks all the time and im sorry if it is!

DS (6 weeks) has fed constantly for the past 2 days, i think (i may be wrong) he is doing it for comfort, i don't see how he can be hungry the amaount he is feeding. Im fine with this and am happy to feed him as much as he want's but im worried that he will get into the habit of using me as a comfort aide to get to sleep and wont be able to sleep without the breast. Also im getting sore where he is on for hours at a time all day! Is it just a phase/ growing spurt??? He screams when he isn't feeding its the only thing that calms him!

Its a growth spurt - he is doing it to up your milk supply.

He should settle down in a day or two.

(Oh, and he is FAR too young to develop habits or any such like - take the opportunity to have your arse glued to the armchair and have DH run around after you for Christmas )

It's terribly wearing but it really does stop. honestly!

You could say that! Thankfully this pm he has done nothing but sleep. i dont think i will be waking him.

You would think he has never been fed the way he eats my nose/chin/fingers even tried to lathc on to DP last night which i found alot funnier than he did!
