Undermining breastfeeding in the Philippines.

We only ever hear about Nestle being villains, but in this case it sounds like government of a wealthy country is interfering with that of a poor country, and undermining that country's future health, for purely commercial reasons.

Thanks PC.

but ? is it a government? US Chamber of Commerce is only like the CBI over here, isn't it?

Sorry, tired and muddled. I don't know where the 'government' crept in from! Perhaps I was thinking about the USCofC being influential.

i imagine it's a pretty close relationship. had a look at their website - the building for the usofc looks exactly like the white house to me.

Hm...the report there still is plain and simple...NESTLE is the Bastard....
Felt awful yesterday, had to buy Nescafe yesterday,. for work (am the new girl)...and the girl that told me when I buy coffee to buy Nescafe had told me in an earlier chat that she took part in a Babym ilk trial when her eldest child was a Baby....so, didn't feel like saying anything...although, it would have made much more sense to buy Keco, as it was on special offer...
