DS2 is having a real bad day! Anyone with any suggestions please post! (He is 5 weeks)

He has screamed solidly since he woke up this morning the only thing that calms him is nursing, he will nurse for about half hour on one side then come off himself and scream and refuse the breast then about 5 mins later he will take theother side again for about half hour then come off again but then about 5mins later he will want the other side again and this is the only thing that clams him, he is gulping like he hasnt been fed in hours but if i dont give it to him he screams and screams! I have checked that he is clean and dry and he's bringing up wind fine. He won;t stop crying even when he is picked up which he usually does.

Any tips?

Charlee....just feed him. That's clearly what he needs, and it keeps him happy. No need to worry about this. He wants to be with you and/or feed. Simple

I am feeding him don't worry i was jsut wondering why he starts screaming for the other side after a while does one side dry up? Also was jsut wondering why he is feeding so often today when he doesnt usually.

I dunno, Charlee.....just like any other human being, he will have days when things are different from other days Maybe he just wants to be near you more today, or maybe he is hungrier today, or maybe he wants to switch sides to get a different flow of milk, or maybe.....loads of things!

sounds like he's just having a cranky day charlee, even babies have them unfortunately.

just go with tthe flow and feed him whenever and from whatever side he wants and it'll pass soon enough
