DS is 13weeks today. Has known what to do with bf since he was placed on my chest and shuffled across to latch on. No issues so far (apart from weight loss at the start until he ws 3ws)

Just now i have gone to feed him and he hams suckled a few seconds then turned away and grizzled. Repeatedly. Not quite a cry but definitely unhappy. I've winded him and he's sacked up and small amount. He kept pulling himself back to the breast after a few seconds of 'whinging'

I've changed sides and he's stopped! Just fed normally and falling asleep. No usual issue with sides other than a week or so he started making sucking noises on the right side sometimes, and that's the side he didn't like today.

Any ideas? Should i be concerned?

The flow of your milk can alter between boobs and maybe he prefers the flow of one to the other. Or you can have a slower letdown on one to the other.

Do you know if one is slower than the other? You could do some extra pumping or hand expressing on the left out side just to stimulate it a bit then try him on there after he's fed on his favouring side when he's not starving and maybe will accept a slower flow or slower let down.

We had this for a little while but he went back to both soon enough. Only a short spell of looking lopsided.

Maybe do a dream feed off the least favourable side too.
