Scrambled egg texture in 9wk old's nappy?? (pic included)

Sorry for the pic but am a bit concerned-noticed baby's nappy was quite green and slimy but then that there was almost solids in it-I would say it actually is solid. . What could it be? Has anyone ever seen this before? I haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary-just weetabix and a mandarin before last feed. .

Am worrying he could have sucked his hand after 3yo touched him.. but still can't think what that could do. Any ideas?

Not sure if it's relevant but his nose is pretty blocked.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Ds produced those from time to time. He was fine.

Really? ? Just had another small one there now. . I wonder what causes it. .

I think it's mucus from his blocked nose.

ShowOfHands · 29/09/2015 18:11

A cold/blocked nose and lots of dribbling can cause this.

It looks like a mixture of nasal mucous and undigested milk.

I've had two babies and you do see nappies like that from time to time. It's normal and nothing to worry about as a one off in an otherwise well baby.

Agree that it's just mucus from his cold. Nothing at all to worry about.

Thanks so much all for that reassurance. Flowers
