Me and Hunker discussing earlier - how much heavier are breastfeeding bosoms than when not? Half a stone each, we reckoned (wistful thinking...?)

at breasts that could go on the scales

I reckon mine are about tuppence ha'penny. That's in old money.

ooooh, couple of ounces? is there anything smaller than ounces? a couple of those maybe...

Piffle · 30/11/2006 21:03

Frickin good guess me duck!
I'm preggers so they are a little "fuller" than usual
Before preg I was 34E/F now I'm 36G and when breastfeeding oh golly, it gets silly, I just stay in with my arms crossed

dinny · 30/11/2006 21:03

and do they go back after breastfeeing is finished?

OP posts:
Piffle · 30/11/2006 21:03

when I get my breast reduction after finishing breastfeeding this baby.
I reckon I'll lose 3/4 stone
instant slimness!

TinselgalacticWalrus · 30/11/2006 21:04

I have no idea how much they weigh (rather a lot, I supect)

with ds they snapped back to 32D
As I got older (9 yrs between dd and ds) I gained weight (was real skinny before then)
when preg with dd they just grew and grew and grew
Post feeding no real change have stayed much bigger tbh
But ds was a massive feeder and ran me ragged
dd was tiny feeder and stay at home late walker.
so hard to compare them

Piffle · 30/11/2006 21:08

yes pruni.
they had read the xrays the reverse way round set the right leg as by the xray of the left leg
FYI
R leg had broken femur and cracked kneecap
left leg had broken tibia and fibula
Bloody horses...
Gets worse LOL
they could not knock me out in general anaesthetic cos of suspected brain injury (had baseline skull fracture too) so had whole thing under powerful local
But the noise
[shudder]

dinny · 30/11/2006 21:10

God, Piffle, did horse fall on you?

OP posts:
Piffle · 30/11/2006 21:11

another good guess Dinny - damn you're good
Yep reared up and fell over on me backwards
Lucky I was wearing a helmet huh

dinny · 30/11/2006 21:13

hmmm, educated guess, Piffle. have been somersaulted on (was v lucky though, nothing broken, just concussuion)

do you still ride?

OP posts:
Piffle · 30/11/2006 21:16

that was when I was 15
I was back on the same horse with two legs in plaster 5 wks later - madness of youth
I rose competitively and rode racehorses with many innocent ish falls until I was 20 when the one that ended my career occured - I had to give up riding, sell my 2 ponies, one horse and all my gear [sob] I then went to uni, which made my parents happy (finally)
that horse then ran 4th in the Melbourne cup...
So not ridden really for 16 yrs, had the odd little ride on holidays etc though

I would suggest they weigh about 3 oz each.

They're TINY.

They were quite nice post birth (C cup) and for ages after, but when I lost weight they just vanished. Saying that, my Mums are tiny too so I'm not surprised really.

I wear a 6B. That's what they call, erm, optimistic.

Piffle · 30/11/2006 21:44

6b gosh you are slim

PeachysAreNotAChristmasFruit · 30/11/2006 21:54

Oh yes, me and the broom handles LOL

Size xero anyday now
