Have I made a big mistake putting DS on SMA Progress today?

Hello experienced Mummies, Ds is 6 months old and seems to be going to a major growth spurt, he is having 3 good size solid meals a day with bottles in between.

Last night he had a bottle at 11pm and then woke at 2.30am for another. So saw SMA progress today, said to complement solid foods, he only managed to drink about 5oz of this. Does anyone know if this is heavier than the SMA white or should I go and make 4 bottles up in advance for the restlessness night I may have

Isn't that follow-on milk ? Added vitamins nd iron which are n't really necessary if he has an otherwise varied diet. tbh if he is more restless by taking less of it I'd revert to the previous one since the "benefits" are slight at best.

agree with LIZS....no need for follow on milk really...if hungry, then stick with the white milk as more filling..as heavier....if he is eating varied solids and drinking plenty of milk..stick with the white milk

can use cows milk in cooking now too...

Thanks Lulu and LIZS, think I'll make up some big bottles of the usual then and maybe increase his solids intake, he's got to start sleeping through soon, peeerrllleaase.
