How long to breastfeed for?

I am trying to decide what to do about breastfeeding over the next few months. My daughter is 7 months old. I'll be back at work in 2 months time and really cant face expressing at work. Should I start trying to wean her off now? Ive heard that it might be possible to decrease feeds to nightime and morning - has anyone experience of doing this? Also would it better to wean her sooner rather than later - might it be easier?

just wanted to say thanks for the postings - this is the first time I've used mumsnet this way and have found this very supportive, but also challenging - not just "nicey nicey" supportive if you know what I mean. We have been instigating a bedtime routine over the last few nights and dd has been going off to sleep very happily in her cot to a bedtime story, just need for the dear one to sleep through a bit longer and we'll be esctatic! Am still a little tentative about how to manage breastfeeding and work, but feel more confident about keeping options open and a bit more baby-led than I was previously.
