Does a bit of booze increase your milk flow?

I've noticed that on nights where I have a beer or glass of wine, I get a strong let down buzzing feeling, and it seems to stimlate the milk flow. Does anyone else get this, or am I imagining it?

I have to add to this (as failed breastfeeder albeit) that my ante-natal midwife said; on the subject of alcohol and breastfeeding that often after a glass of wine the baby fell asleep after a feed and the mother then panicked in the manner of "is my baby now pissed?".

Nope. You relaxed. Milk flowed forth. Baby fed well. Thus baby slept. (and in your case, milk flowed forth)

Cheers!

Sit down...
tip down... (wine)
let down... (milk)
fall down... (on floor)
