14 month old - advice on milk and other drinks

Just wondered how much milk other parents give their kids at this age and whether you still use a bottle with teet or not? My daughter refuses to drink out of a sippy cup (we've tried various models) so still takes her milk from her bottle morning and at bedtime. Throughout the day she uses an open cup but will only take watered down juice (not water) and again, wont use a sippy cup so we just use an open beaker.

Any tips on how to get her using a sippy cup and how to get her to drink more throughout the day? Worried her teeth will be bad from using the teet still at this age too!

Have you tried a straw? Could you water down her juice gradually so that in the end it's just water?

Hi JiltedJohnsJulie - thanks for the idea, the open beaker cup that we have has a straw built in so she drinks quite happily through a straw. Just means when we go out, it's a bit impractical because the cup doesn't have a lid so it slops everywhere!

I have the exact same problem with my 15 month old. Drinks from straw, cup or beaker throughout the day - water or weak diluting juice, but the milk just has to be in a bottle. If I try anything else we have hours of crying. I actually think he doesn't like milk but only takes bottle for comfort of suckling! I'm not too worried as its only one bottle per day.
