Has anyone had this? Any advice on how to prevent pain occurring? Currently ebf, get a pain in nipple/ breast that starts after feeding, occasionally would have had a similar pain before being pregnant / having baby. Noticed it occurred when carrying a tub of icecream agains me today! Any advice/ help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Keep it warm, I guess. That's how you prevent symptoms with Raynaud's anywhere else.

Has it been formally diagnosed?

You have all my sympathy. I'm convinced this is what I had with first baby & I can still recall the pain which started in pregnancy
Get down the Doctors and see what they can offer. Other than that, keep everything warm and toasty

I had this with my first baby. I was working with a lactation consultant to try to improve the latch and they recommended that I try vitamin B6. It needs to be in a Vitamin B complex that includes Naicin. I followed the instructions in here. I didn't do any of the other things (other than improve the latch) and it seemed to help.

Just posted this a couple of days ago in this thread:

For future MNers looking for answers:

keep warm and massage olive oil
check for tongue tie, posterior tt are v. hard to get diagnosed, insist, esp. if you have a forceful letdown too and/or you have blanching when the weather is warm
Nifedipine is the drug of choice if all else fails (GP might need persuading)

Flowers to you OP, it's hard.
