Can I take any anti-inflammatory tabs whilst bf?

Hi

I had a minor op down below today and I'm really in pain. It's bruised and swollen down there but the only tabs I was given from the hosp were paracetomol. Can I take any anti-inflammatorys?

Ouch, ouch, ouch has stopped my broody feelings for abit that's for sure!

i was told to take ibuprofen when bf (but years ago). ask nhs direct??

You can take Ibuprofen (GP suggested them when I had mastitis) which should help a bit with inflamation. Go to Kellymom.com for more info (can't do links - too tired)
