Just that really , had my Ds 4 weeks ago and my milk only made an appearance yesterday Confused

I did initially want to breast feed but couldn't & not sure what to do now as I would like to but Ds isn't showing much interest as I managed to get him to latch earlier for a few minutes but he won't latch again .
Not sure whether to keep trying or just carry on ff , if I were to keep trying how would I , iyswim ?

Keep trying :)

Lots of skin to skin, co bathing, keeping your baby close, being responsive.

Support your supply by expressing.

Call any of the be helplines and talk about your options.

See what happens :)

Not 'be' helplines.....bf helplines.

If it means a lot to you, keep trying.
Put him to the Breast before a feed and see how he goes. You can always offer bottle after so he won't go hungry.

Thanks , I didn't try again this evening as he has been grumpy but ill try every feed tomorrow and hope he takes it

I'll have to get a pump , which one though ?

Try hand expressing. See how you go.

Don't restrict your tries to feeding times. Just keep him really close and maybe have a bath with him, and have a skin to skin cuddle when you can.
