14 month old wants to breastfeed all the time!

DS is nearly 14 months and all of a sudden he constantly wants to breastfeed if I'm around. He's always pulling at my top and wants to feed even if he's only been fed five minutes before! This, along with always trying to bite me, is only something he's started doing in the past month or so. I've recently gone back to work so I don't know if him not seeing me in the day for a few days a week has triggered it. Not sure how to stop it tbh, I know I can always refuse but he gets very upset. Has anyone else's DC done this?

My 13mo DD has just started wanting to feed more, I hadn't fed her in the day for a few weeks or in the night and she was suddenly really rooting. Not all the time but definitely more than normal.

I'm putting it down to teething, although I've lost count of how many times I've blamed teething for things!

He has his four top teeth and four bottom and I don't think there are any new ones coming through. He's also started waking at 1am and 4am, very distressed and wanting a feed whereas before he'd have a feed around 11pm and then sleep til 6ish. Now that I'm back at work that's quite hellish! I wish I knew what to do. Only thing I can think of is to wear high necked tops so he can't pull them down and gain access!

I've been back at work for four weeks and my 14 month old DS is feeding at bed time and all through the night. I have no idea how many times but it seems like more than ever.

On the three days that I'm home, if we're in the house and he's not distracted, he'll happily feed all day. There's a lot of top pulling going on!

I don't know if this is a phase. I'm kind of going with it as I don't want to upset him more than necessary as he's already adjusting to new childcare arrangements.

He's been biting me too Confused
