8 week old fussy on boob. Colic? Poorly? Leap?

Started yesterday but baby has become really weird. She'll usually go on boob at any opportunity but she is currently really fussy.

She is still having full on feeds but the past few days she has been generally really grumpy. If she isn't sleeping she is screaming and really hard to settle. She gets "too" upset to go on boob if that makes sense.

She seems ok? No temperature or other signs of illness.

Can breastfed babies have colic? She does go really rigid when she is having her screaming fits.

I am a Wonder Weeks fan older child never really followed the leaps but baby is right age for second leap and is showing all the signs. .. fussy on boob, clingy, hard to settle.

Seeing HV on Tuesday anyway but thought I'd ask if anyone else had a normally excellent feeder go through this at 8 weeks.

Really sorry, can't remember. Have you tried calling one of the Bfing Helplines?.

My daughter did that around 12 weeks, and it was hard to get to the route of it, I think a combination of teething and silent reflux and egg allergy. Does your baby scream a lit of the time anyway? Have you eaten anything unusual?

And yes, breastfed can get colic.
