recommendations for a lactation consultant in north east London?

Can anyone recommend a really good lactation consultant, ideally in the Walthamstow/Leyton area?

Am pregnant and had a nightmare with feeding first time around and would like to line up some really good help this time around. Many thanks

I also had visit from Alison Shaloe who was great but she's in Bounds Green and not always able to come this far east.

Based in Reading, but she does do consults in London and I swear I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is bloody wonderful. At least give her a ring and see if she can help you.

If you're considering using a lactation consultant, please ensure they are IBCLC, as "lactation consultant" isn't a protected term - anyone can be one.

Other options - I know there are BfN people in Haringey, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Islington, if travelling is likely to be possible for you.
