No one warns you about this! My dd is a real hungry bunny right now!! Shock She asks for boob every hour and a half and feeds for ages before bed with at least 3 night feeds.
She does great big poos and wees well, normal burps and maybe 1 spit up a day. So I'm pretty confident she's digesting it all.

Am I right in thinking this is tge "hungrier" thing they get a few weeks before they're ready for solids?
Roll on 24-26 weeks! Grin I'm a husk!

Mind you it's nice to see her eat up her food turning into my mother! like a good strong girl.

My 25 week DS has been guzzling milk but this week has shown no real interest in eating much. Also the BLW book says to not expect much reduction in feeds between 6-9 months Confused! He puts stuff in his mouth but isn't swallowing more than a spoonful a day. So it seems it might take a while for food to actually be a source of nutrition at all. We are FF and he's drinking me out of house and home! 40+oz a day!

There is often a growth spurt around 6 months - but it is milk they need, before food!

Yes, food is a weird game to DS at the moment, not nutrition or filling. We do a little bit of food play, then big bottle!
