Baby not hungry in the morning

My baby wakes for a breastffed at 4am which she hungrily eats but is then never hungry in the morning. Will barely feed at 7am or 9am then has a little at 10.30. Then has a massive feed at 2pm. How can I switch this round? She is nearly five months old.

DS was the same. Fed at 4 am, rejected the breast at 7 am but by 5.5 months we had weaned and he was eating breakfast quite happily. Not sure how to get that long milk free gap to be at night. Do you dream feed? Maybe waking up and tanking up at 11 would be the answer?

At least its not just me then! She wakes up for a dream feed and drinks a lot. How did you work your weaning times out as I am starting to wean but finding it difficult to get the timings right as missing the 7am feed seems to throw everything else out.

Mine has recently become like this but her weight gain is better than before so I'm just letting her do that till weaning then trying her with some ready break made with milk.
Good to know it's normal though! Smile Thought it was odd when she started it.
