I have just realised I dont have enough of DS formula for tomorrow, I cant get it in the morning as Im at work and no time - DP cant go out and get any and Im ready for bed so cant be arsed to drive to shop that sells it.

He is on aptamil - none of the local shops sell it, how bad would it be to give him a different formula at 7.5 months old?

not bad at all...except that he might not go for it...i don't think there is any issue except his taste buds!

Gave dd all different sorts and she was fine. I used mostly aptamil but had tokens for others. Good luck.

Dd did used to get terrible wind on some formulas at this age. However she was fine with both Aptimil and SMA (so I suggest SMA! )

A midwife who my mom works with once said to her "does your dd know that the cow & gate is on offer in Boots "
My mom replied "Well she doesn't use Cow & Gate"
Midwife said "Well i'll use what evers on offer"

She had changed her DD's milk several times, depending on what was on offer.

I had to change Ds's milk lots of times as he seemed to go off them.
Like Sophable said though, he may not like the one you pick, my ds sometimes didn't.

It's all pretty much the same stuff Beccarollover it's like running out of Sainsbury's milk and getting it from Tesco instead.

islandgirl · 20/04/2004 20:38

you can use another one, but he may not like it - good luck, and lucky you ready for bed already!!

Beccarollover · 20/04/2004 20:39

Well I got cow and get plus ready made - fingers crossed he will like it or he will be rather hungry!!

Wish I was still breastfeeding!!!
