I have just realised I dont have enough of DS formula for tomorrow, I cant get it in the morning as Im at work and no time - DP cant go out and get any and Im ready for bed so cant be arsed to drive to shop that sells it.

He is on aptamil - none of the local shops sell it, how bad would it be to give him a different formula at 7.5 months old?

Probably a bit late, but the HV's told me that you should not really change milk more than once.... My 2 were on Aptimil as well and I used to get it from the local hospital, for £5 - soooo much cheaper. By the time DD was over 1 and I ran out then I gave her cow's milk very occasionally. But I'm not sure this is possible for a 7mth old.

SmellyMelly, I suspect your HV is one of well known genus Healthvistorusulessus. What rubbish they do spout. It's all practically identical in composition. What possible harm could it do to have different brands. My ds had whatever there was, when he didn't have breastmilk. And cow's milk is 100% fine for babies over one - I stopped using any formula at one, and it's perfectly fine for babies of seven months too, in fact.
