MY baby went to bed without a breastfeed tonight :(

Ok so my baby will be 3 in March. And my baby frequently goes to bed with no milk when I'm not there (long shifts). And I have left my baby for a couple of days at a time no bother. But when I'm here he always demands his milk. He is getting all big :(. He just didn't ask, He came and gave me a hug and went up to bed.

I know how you feel... mine stopped evening feeds altogether at 18 months. Took a cup and asked for milk from a fridge instead. I nearly burst into tears. But they are growing up, and we just need to accept that...

He did still wake at night and want milk.

But slowly slowly he is reducing.

Of course he is growing up which is wonderful but he is my baby, my last, I will never bf again after he stops and if it wasn't for bf I don't think I would be where I am now (work/training/future).

I reckon I'd burst into tears if I was passed over for milk from the fridge though too!
