ds is three weeks old and feeding every two hours. He is happy gaining weight and lots of delightful nappies but i am exhausted. Night feeds seem to just run into each other- by the time i have fed, winded and settled him back down its tiem for the next feed and i am running on empty. added to this we are moving to cyprus in a fortnight and so during the day i am trying to get other things doneand catching up on sleep os not realistic. any ideas/siggestions?

Just in case you check back - remember to bring as much baby stuff as you can fit in - clothes, nappies, wipes, next stage car seat etc - it's all more expensive or worse quality over here. Also, if you're attached to your favourite brand of toothpaste, shampoo etc, bring those with you. Paracetamol and ibuprofen are also a lot more expensive over here. HTH

thank you everyone- it makes life easier in some ways just to know that other people are in the same position. had a manic weekend - went back to our home town to have ds christened and sy goodbye to friends and extended family. the packers are in on thurs and have organised contract cleaners for fri! march out mon and fly next sat! forces wives must be mad. ds slept for three hours between one feed and the next last nightabsolute bliss!!! and dh took him after his first morning feed so i could have a lie in . Laura032004 not sure about air con yet - we only have an address but no details. thanks for the advice about baby stuff. if we have any room left in our cases i'll stock up! we have an allowance of 40kg i think so 80 in total.
