Please help, I am stuck in a rut, how can you encourage baby to take more food during the day?

DD is 16 weeks old and i have over the past few weeks introducded bottle feeding as i was breast feeding. Trouble is she doesn't drink enough during the day, I have tried faster flowing teats but to no avail. It means she is waking a lot more during the night, hungry.
Does anyone have any tips as to how to break the cycle? is it just a case of refusing her food when she wakes in the night?

Mammaemma, Had same problem with DS till he got his days and nights sorted. I continued to BF but just made a point of offering more frequent short feeds during the day, DD could be waking in the night for comfort as well as food, it won't last forever, but in the meantime Good Luck
