Are there any anti-inflammatories compatible with breastfeeding?

My back is in a terrible state (slipped disc, keeps recurring) and although I am stuffing myself with painkillers and occasional sedatives, I need something more. I am receiving physio and doing lots of the appropriate exercises. But I really need something to help with the inflammation.

(I am waiting for a call with the Doctor about this but when I've spoken before she's thought that there isn't much I can take.)

Voltrol! (Diclofenac is the non-brand name, I think?)

It's really good, it's non-drowsy-making, and really helps sort things out, and is ok with bf. I think a little goes through, but not much. How old is your LO?

(it is a bit hard on the gut, you don't want to be taking it for ages, and please do keep on with the physio, that's the long term fix!)
