I have just given up BFing and moved on to cows milk the transition has gone very smoothly but during this time she has been teething/had a cold both started after i began reducing feeds (typical)

now she is just feeding her way through the night and i am having to give her about 3/4 bottles to get her back to sleep . and now im fin ding she isn't eating very much food in the day

how many bottles should she have

typically she would have aBF at 7pm then 11pm 5.30 am 11am and sometimes 2pm but not very often

she isnt having any bottles iin the day now but all at night

mine only had 2 milk feeds at that age -am and pm. They only need around 300mls from age 1 and that includes any they have in food and any dairy products they have

thank you .... she seems to be so reliant on her 11pm feed if i try and take it away she will just keep waking up every time she falls asleep she will wake up again within a few mins or just not go to sleep.. i have tried reducing the ammout and giving half water of skimmed milk in this feed but she does the same thing ...

would you give her morning feed before breakfast or after ... i find in the mornign we are on a tight schedual to get ds to school so if she wakes at 6.30 and i give her a bottle she isnt hungry enogh for breakfast before we leave at 8am

Ds2 is almost two and has two 5oz bottles during the night, usually about midnight and 5am. He eats fine during the day and generally drinks two full beakers if cows milk during the day as he doesn't like water and prefers milk to juice.

Meant to say he's been having about the same amount of milk since about 10/11 months.
