DD stopped naturally just before 17 months and I have had aches since then. For a few weeks I expected it to be a bit achy, although she'd cut down her feeding to 2 a day so it wasn't a massive cold turkey but nearly 5 weeks on my breasts still ache is this normal?

If so, how long does it tend to last?
If not, what is it likely to be?

Sorry if posting on wrong part of MN but not sure where else it would fit in.

Thanks so much :)

I stopped last week - similar to you I had already cut down to 2 a day and my boobs feel a bit weird. Some parts feel a bit heavy but when I've tried to express absolutely nothing comes out.

Interested in what others say to your post!

Achy boobs could be pre-menstrual or a sign of being pregnant. I'm definitely not the latter but I suppose it could be hormones resettling which causes menstrual boob-soreness and so the same with giving up bf? I didn't have any if this I'm sure with my first.
