how old is your baby camera? green poo can be a sign that the baby is not taking in as much of the fattier hindmilk, only a prob if persistently green I think. Flourescent orange, not sure - does it have 'bits' in IYSWIM?

Green poo also means the 'food' has shot through the bowel quickly.. and bm is very quick to digest.. hence reason bf babies want to hang from boobs all day! I have seen green poo both my bf babies from time to time.

Orange poo pretty much normal and healthy in bf baby.. it's the result of being fed a 'magic' food which almost completely digested and digestable

ShinyHappyPeople - flourescent orange is prob a better description than the 'scrambled egg' they tell you to expect - not like any scrambled egg I'd ever want to eat

Well quite..

baby is a month old, it sometimes has bits in it but not all the time.

If baby is putting on weight ok, and has periods of being alert, then prob not too much to worry about. Babies eat different amounts at different times. There are lots of people around here who know lots about bf, I'm just going by my own experience with 2mth old

show a b/f support person, they will know. are you taking supplements? cod liver oil for me turned ds's poo bright green.

Nothing to worry about at all in the absence of any other sign all is not well....orange and green can be normal colours, sometimes reflecting vit supps the mother is taking but usually meaning nothing significant at all
