...then read DON'T do this.

I am out tomorrow so leaving DD2 with DH. I don't want to throw this away & I don't want him to use formula.

Why can't you mix & what will happen to the milk ?

I've just been collecting themilk the last few days, so not really old ( I don't think)

Just concerned that adding warm to cool would do something to the milk ? I've already done it & it smells ok this am....

I've always done this tbh with no ill effects.

I did it once like that and DD refused to drink it, had tiny bit (less than 1oz) and had really green poo after. Ebm didn't smell any different from usual ebm, IMO. But something must have been wrong with that.
I'd cool fresh ebm down first to add it to the cold one.

thanks - she wouldn't take a bottle afterall, I gave it to DD1 as I didn't want to waste it !

I always mix my EBM. I work full time so express at work for the next day, plus in the mornings. Sometimes I'll add the milk together to make one big bottle. I just swill the bottle around to mix well.
I tend to smell the milk before I mix, you can smell when it's off.
