I've posted before but I was just really wondering if anyone has a similar baby...

Basically it's been quite a few days now that DS only takes morning feed. He used to feed before bed but he's not interested anymore...

I keep worrying he's not getting enough liquids. He sips a bit of water with his meals but not that much. His nappies are quite wet though but wouldn't be able to tell how many. It doesn't look like urine is dark (would I be able to see that in a nappy??) or strong smelling. He's not constipated.

He's been steadily dropping feeds since he started solids. He really likes his food. HV told me that as long as he's having lots of dairy it's fine. He does. He eats 300g of yoghurt in one go, and also has about 200ml of cow's milk in his porridge

I guess I'm not that worried about liquids as about possibility of him self-weaning much sooner than I'm ready... Sad

If you had a baby like this, did they soon self-wean?

My DS was similar, he's now 11months and has had just one milk feed a day since 9months. DS is a great eater and wasn't keen on water up until about the last three weeks, and now he guzzles it. Before that was very reluctant, but it didn't seem to cause any issue at all. I made sure he had plenty of 'wet' food, and lots of dairy (as you are doing). I know it feels early, but it sounds like you're taking his lead and doing fine Smile
