I've been prescribed oestrogen cream to put on my vagina/perineum as it is still sore down below (6wks pp). i got it home and read the leaflet and it says do not use if breast feeding! (Dr knows I'm bf)
i just wondered if any one else has any experience of this?

It only says not to use while BFing because the manufacturer hasn't done the studies confirming that it is safe. The amount that is going to make it in your blood stream is absolutely tiny.

I had this exact thing.
I rang my GP and checked, she said it would be fine.
I was several months post partum and still quite wary.
It should be fine.
