BF past a year and being away from baby for a week +

I have a 7mo who is BF. My plan is to carry on with BF as long as she wants it.

However, I am going back to work properly and am currently trying to plan a project which will potentially have me away from home and baby for up to a fortnight when she is 14m (most likely I'd go for a week and she'd join me in second week.

My question, for those who've BF that long, is whether I will be able to maintain some supply if I pump once a day? I am presuming she will most likely only be feeding morning/night by then, if at all. Any advice?

I went away for five days when DS1 was nearly two and it had no effect on my supply whatsoever - just pumped twice a day and resumed when I got back.

I wouldn't be sure that a 14 month old would only be feeding morning/night (mine is 20 months and still feeding at least once during the day as well) but that would just mean pumping a bit more frequently if there are more frequent feeds. I'd definitely pump twice a day if she's still feeding twice a day or more, I just did it when I got up and before I went to bed.

I went away for a week with work when ds was 18 months, and although I planned to express whilst there, I never quite managed it, and supply was still fine, plus he was more than happy to feed when I returned!

Thank you, that's really handy to know.
