Silly question , didnt prepare and put ice block in freezer. I have a ebm bottle I need to use by this afternoon but were going out for lunch, so need to take it with, any ideas?

There have been studies that show formula left out= increased bacteria, whereas EBM=decresed count of bacteria over the same time period, so in theory EBM should be ok???

what about a bag of frozen peas or something that you don't mind waisting, - or if its already cold just put it in a coolbag and that will stop it warming too quick

I always found that EBM stayed reasonably cold if it went straight from the fridge into the bottle cooler even without an ice pack - depends how long you need to leave it for. There is a website that I found answered most of my expressing questions (and I had lots because DS never really latched on properly and I expressed all his milk for 4.5 months!)called kellymom (google search the name and it should come up).
