How much expressed breast milk for a 5 month old?

I'm leaving my 5 month old EBF DD for the day (at least 11 hours) this week and am desperately trying to express enough milk but have no idea how much she drinks! I know it varies from baby to baby, but was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how many bottles she'll take? She's a fairly big baby :)

Average is about 1-1.5oz per hour. For 12 hours I would probably leave 3x 4oz bottles.

That's great thanks, should be manageable!

The Kellymom website has a good calculator for this.

As fledermaus said, it's approx 1/1.5oz an hour. And anecdotally they are more likely to drink it little and often (if not used to a bottle) so whoever is feeding your baby might want to heat up the milk in small amounts.

That's a good idea Eagle, thanks. It's my partner looking after her and other times when it's only been a few hours he's tended to give her one big bottle and then she gets wind and vomits it all up!
