Snacky healthy food for BF

Due DC3 anyday When BF DD2 I found I needed stuff to "grab" and snacked to keep me awake (her sleep cycle was 45m for 6 months argh!), going to be even worse with 3 DC under 5 to manage

Snacks tended to be ready made stuff to eat instantly eg a croissant, peice of dry bread, biscuit, chocolate on a night etc Not good!

So any suggestions on food that literally takes no time to "make" and can just fill your energy requirements right then and there but will help me lose weight?

I used to love prepared fruit.

Either buy frozen and defrost, prepare yourself I advance, or buy ready done. For me it had water in it, was cold and healthy.

Otherwise, whatever you do, buy snack sized portions, like those small malt loaves. If I'd have had a whole malt loaf in, I would have eaten half of it in one sitting!

I had hundreds of M&S flapjacks stashed around the house.

Oatcakes
Those sesame seed bar things
Mini baby bells
Boiled eggs (if that's your thing)

Love a boiled egg & always have a stash of them in the fridge.

Morrisons do a pack of two boiled eggs by the sandwich section too.

Fig rolls.
Rice cakes
Cherry toms, sliced cucumber
Nuts and raisins
Fruit salad ,easier than eating a whole orange or cutting up a melon iyswim
Malt loaf with marg is supposed to be good for new mothers, ward off anaemia and vit d from marg (according to my doctor)
I have all of the above but also put away masses of chocolate, I just need the energy!
