After 6 weeks want to stop breast feeding- how?

My baby is 6 weeks old and breastfed from birth, for the last week I have introduced one bottle a day. I have now made the decision to stop breastfeeding but how do I go about this? Can I just stop? Do I have to stop it gradually? Any tips to make it easier on my breasts?

Any advice appreciated

I have heard people say to drop one feed a week to avoid discomfort so gradually is the way to go

you can drop one feed every 3 days if you have been breastfeeding for 6 weeks ish.

Hello, my NCT chum did the same thing, she found when her boobs got really sore, pumping off just a little bit helped. I think it subsided after a few days.
