Is it worth trying to boost supply at 18 months?

Dd2 is still going strong and will feed up to 3 times a day if I let her but if she does by bedtime there's hardly any milk and it take ages to get he to sleep.

My family and her dad think I should just stop but I feel guilty and I don't want to.

Is it worth trying to boost milk supply and how?

Another reason I don't want to stop is that she really suffers with teething and doesn't sleep through the night. I still need the bf to fall back on!

That's not really how supply works - you don't make less milk in the evenings and you definitely don't run out by the end of the day.

It's quite common for breastfeeding to sleep to take longer as they get older because they are more distractible, but this is definitely a sleep issue, and not a BF issue! :)

There's no need to stop, and it doesn't sound like there's a problem with supply.

How long is it taking to get her down?
