Okay, my ds has never been that interested in breastfeeding :( so I had to pump most of his feeds and only breastfed at 3am and 6am when he woke. For some reason that is the only time he would accept. I figured he didn't like the let down bc every time I would let down he would pull off and milk would spray all over and he would get pest if I kept trying to put him back on during day. For sme reason during middle of night and morning feeds he would tolerate it. Anyway, I began introducing solids and he really took to the solids well from the start. He enjoys it, opens his mouth etc. he drinks from the bottle just fine. But the last two days has not breastfed really. He gave a few sucks and after let down pulled off :( I feel sad as I was hoping e would start to improve on his breastfeeding, enjoy it more and I would be ale to stop pumping, as what happened with my first born. Initially she too would get frustrated at the breast, but after three months she started enjoying and I could stop pumping and just breastfeed.
Why doesn't my son want to breastfeed?? Do I try not giving bottle and only offering breast? Maybe then he will start to take breast?
