Serious pain after stopping feeding

Stopped feeding my DS on Monday morning. Had weaned him right down over the past weeks to just night feeds. I fed him for the last time about 6am on Monday. And Oh. My. Lord. I have boobs that resemble Victoria beckhams early boob job, they look stuck on, so solid and really really bloody sore. I got about 3 hours sleep last night because of them. Struggling to hold my baby :(

Any advice?

Express a little off for comfort, possibly in a shower/bath.

It will subside, I had to go cold turkey with dd (she wouldn't cut down) and mine were like this. Warm bath and hand express a tiny bit if v bad. Also simple analgesia.

Out of interest, are you not worried you may get mastitis?

Yeah mastitis crossed my mind today but have had that in past and felt systemically rotten. I feel fine in myself.

How long does it take for your milk to go back?
