Will my supply last? Breastfeeding morning and night only...

Just looking for some advice/reassurance (pfb and still clueless!) - in preparation for going back to work soon I have finally managed to get my 7m old DD on bottles during the day (formula). I still breastfeed her when she wakes and before bed. This has been for almost 2 months now, a gradual process but my supply has def dropped during the day as expected. But by the evening and first thing I dont exactt feel full of milk and I am worried supply is so low that DD isnt getting a proper feed. In the morning I give her breakfast a little while after and then a bottle as I am worried she isnt getting enough milk. She takes 4oz or so. I read the morning and evening milk feeds are v important and continue to be even if others drop as weaning progresses. I mean to wean DD off breastfeeding gradually over the next month or so but shall I just do it now? She doesnt wake in the night much now but bfding has been so easy...not looking forward to making a bottle during the night! Or am I worrying over nothing and supply should be fine? Everything just feels so soft and empty and not how it used to Confused im already feeling Hmm about going back to work and still a bit bad about getting DD on bottle although I know thats stupid and I actually am relieved not to have to bfeed in public now as she is a nightmare, v distracted and wriggly!

I did the same and it was fine! BF until DD self weaned at 18mo. It can be done! Enjoy!

Yep- body super clever, if you keep feeding at same time of day you will keep p,reducing milk. I did same for remaining night and early morning feeds.

And I'm with you- so nice to have body back and not be getting boobs out all time in public, doesn't suit us all!

I did have huge teary hormone crash when I finished bf, but that may just be me!
