Can you clean bottles in artificially softened water?

We only have access to softened water. I know you can't use it to make up bottles, but can you use it to clean? I've been ultra paranoid so have been cleaning and then rinsing with bottled water which I use to sterilize also.

Anyone else in the same situation?

I would think it is fine. It is the salt content that is the issue so if your lo is not drinking it there isnt a problem

Thanks!

Just read that you shouldn't use bottled water in ff for the salt! But ours is value Tesco filtered tap water so assuming ok?

Ff is a bloody minefield...

www.nhs.uk/chq/pages/1945.aspx?categoryid=62&subcategoryid=63 - this explains what sodium levels to look out for in bottled water. Do you not have a tap connected to just mains water?
