How long can I leave her to sleep at night?

Hi

I am bf on demand my week old dd2 and she hasn't lost any weight since birth (she was 7.4) - in fact she has put on 2oz. During the day, she generally feeds every 2-3 hours (though sometimes wants a top up after an hour) and feeds well - 20 mins on whichever side.

Question is, if she doesn't wake up at night - she usually does, but if not - how long can I leave her to sleep?

Thanks.

I was advised no longer than 4 hours, preferably 3, until they're 4 weeks old and steadily putting on weight.
Sounds like your baby is doing great, congrats.
