lactose intolerant baby not sleeping

Help - my 8 week old son is lactose intolerant. He has been prescribed formula but since then he is not sleeping well. He grazes on milk all day but rarely sleeps (naps for an hour or two and then wakes every 2-3 hours during the noght). His nappies are constantly wet and it seems he isn't getting full. Any ideas as I am now a completely shattered single mum!

Which formula?

Is he definitely lactose intolerant or allergic to cow's milk protein?

Hi! Waking every 2-3 hours in the night at that age seems alright. Wet nappies are good. Why do you suspect he's not getting full?

Agree that waking every 2 to 3 hours at that age sounds normal, try googling 4th trimester.

Has he been allergy tested then?

Sounds normal! And if u r getting one to two hour naps during the day at that age, ur lucky! Mine would take 30 mins naps!
